» Day 1 - Cape Town & Table Bay Hotel
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Live Africa representative and assisted to the vehicle for your transfer to the Table Bay Hotel. On arrival at the Table Bay Hotel a welcome non alcoholic drink will be served while guests complete check in formalities. Dinner tonight is at your leisure. Accommodation in 5 Star Luxury Rooms on a Bed and Breakfast basis.

The Table Bay Hotel is located in the heart of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the hub of one of the world’s most picturesque working. This architectural gem is one of Sun International's flagship hotels. The façade blends Victorian classical elegance with modern sophistication and its distinctly maritime flavor and décor suits the surrounding area beautifully.
As a guest at the Table Bay Hotel, you will experience five-star service, along with some of the best panoramic views of Table Bay, Robben Island and Cape Town's city centre with the iconic backdrop of Table Mountain. All rooms are exclusively decorated with stylish furnishings and exemplify supreme comfort. Large expansive windows afford brilliant views from every suite.
Indulge yourself with an exotic beauty treatment offered by the world class health spa or let your worries drift away with the bubbles in the Jacuzzi or heated saltwater pool. The Atlantic Restaurant specializes in contemporary South African and Asian cuisine, and the local flavor of the menu is complemented by the restaurant's Cape Winelands theme. The Conservatory is an intimate dining experience. The crackling fire in winter makes it a particularly cozy spot to enjoy a romantic meal and glass or two of fine wine. The hotel is a five-minute drive from the city centre and approximately 20km from Cape Town International Airport.
There are a host of attractions within walking distance of the Table Bay Hotel including helicopter flips, boat cruises and all of the V&A Waterfront's shops and restaurants. It's just a short drive into Cape Town's city centre, the Table Mountain Cableway and some of the best beaches in the city.
After you have checked in and freshened-up you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby who will take you on a full day Cape Point excursion, stopping along the way at the following:
- Hout Bay
- Chapman’s Peak
- Cape of Good Hope
- Cape Point including the funicular
- Penguins at Simons Town
Before viewing the penguins, lunch will be enjoyed at Seaforth Restaurant .After the viewing of the penguins, guests can have the choice of continuing or returning to the Table Bay Hotel. Dinner this evening will be at your leisure; however the driver/guide will be available to transfer you to your dinner venue.
Seaforth Restaurant is set on the white sands of Seaforth Beach in Simon's Town, with stunning views of mountains and sea, and penguins to entertain you; Seaforth Restaurant is a spectacular venue on the water's edge. Seaforth offers you the opportunity to delight in the fruits of the sea, or a range of platters fit for the most discerning palate.
Seaforth Restaurant is beautifully located on Seaforth Beach in Simon's Town, adjacent to the Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach. Constructed on the site of the original Seaforth Tea Room dating from the 50's and later, the Seaforth Restaurant which burnt down in 1996, the new facility boasts stunning views of the sea and mountains. The restaurant specializes in seafood, whilst a variety of alternative meals are also on offer.
» Day 2 - Azure restaurant & Robben Island Ferry

Breakfast this morning will be in the Azure Restaurant, or sit outside on the terrace (weather permitting). Your driver/guide will transfer you to the Clock Tower and assist you with boarding the Scheduled Robben Island ferry, departing at 9:00. Around noon you will arrive back at the Clock Tower. Lunch will be served at one of the restaurants in the Waterfront. After lunch the afternoon will be at your leisure. You will once again have your driver/guide and vehicle available for the full day. A suggestion would be to visit Table Mountain (weather dependant).
Dinner this evening will be at your leisure; however the driver/guide will be available to transfer you to your dinner venue.
» Day 3 - Wine tasting & Chocolate Tasting

Breakfast this morning will be at your leisure in the restaurant. This morning, meet your guide for your Tour of the Winelands, enjoying your first stop at Simonsig Wine Estate and working your way through Stellenbosh to Franschhoek.
After the winetasting and tour, drive through Stellenbosch and over Helshoogte to Zorgvliet Wine Estate. We will take you for a treat in Franschhoek. Lunch will be arranged at one of the wonderful restaurants enroute.
CHOCOLATE TASTING IN FRANSCHHOEK.
A forty minutes drive from the city is another of the Cape's favorites, the delectable French Huguenot town of Franschhoek - home to fine wines, fine dining and The Huguenot Fine Chocolate Factory. The Huguenot Fine Chocolate Company is one of only two companies in the Western Cape licensed to produce its very own Belgian chocolate, famous for its pure flavor and aroma. You can undertake a small tour within the chocolate factory itself, followed by the piece de resistance - chocolate tasting.
After your last chocolate tasting, the afternoon can be enjoyed doing some further browsing around the wonderful town shopping or return to the hotel to just relax at the pool. Dinner this evening will be at your leisure; however the driver/guide will be available to transfer you to your dinner venue.

Enjoy your last breakfast at the Hotel before completing check out formalities. All guests to meet in reception for the transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg departing at 9:30. On arrival a Live Africa staff member will assist you to the Federal Air office, for the shuttle to the Federal Air Lounge.
Your scheduled charter to Skukuza will arrive at the Skukuza Airstrip around 3:00. Your Lion Sands ranger will welcome you off your flight and transfer you in the open 4x4 vehicles to 1933 Lion Sands (approx. 20 minute transfer), enjoying some game viewing along the way.
A welcome drink will be served upon arrival at the lodge, where all guest will complete check in formalities. Nestling on the banks of the Sabie River, 1933 at Lion Sands represents a secluded environment where comfort and relaxation are the order of the day.
There are four spacious suites, each with their own private view of the Sabie River. The bathrooms are just as inviting, courtesy of their double vanity units, elegant bath and outdoor showers. There is also a children’s dormitory, able to sleep up to 8 children, with his and hers bathroom and an interleading bedroom for the au-pair.
The lodge’s large windows, sliding doors and muted colors mirror the surrounding landscape and create a seamless, indoor-outdoor flow. Timber, thatch and screed flooring add earthy charm to the interior, where the decor is classic-contemporary. Take the lounge, for instance, with its natural fibers, oversized chairs and open fireplace that together create a haven for relaxation.
The kitchen is ideal as it opens onto a dining area that’s equally suited to informal family meals or a banquet affair. All of these public areas open onto a large, wraparound wooden deck and lap-size swimming pool.
Guests have the option of going out on the evening safari alternatively just relaxing and admiring the surroundings, as the lodge will have it own safari vehicle for exclusive use, and all times will be tailor made around the guests needs. In the evening, guests will settle down to a wonderfully prepared dinner.

The philosophy of the safari experience at Lion Sands is to deliver a consistently professional, informative & holistic safari experience, ensuring that all spheres of the eco-system, from the small insects to the mighty African elephant, are covered in as much detail as the guest may require. The Senior Ecologist, Field Ranger & Tracker teams have been carefully selected to make certain that your Safari Experience will not only meet but exceed your highest expectations.
Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. The rest of your day will be at your leisure. Bush Walk Prior to departing the ranger will assess the guest’s fitness level and will structure the walk accordingly. During the summer months the walks are done in the early mornings and form part of the morning game drive. In winter the walk is done after breakfast but to ensure the best walking areas are accessed, the guest will leave the lodge in a Land Rover until the optimal walking route is reached. Once everyone (maximum 8 guests) has settled into the walk the ranger will start to talk on a wide variety of subjects ranging from the medicinal uses of certain plants to the basic skills of tracking animals. On returning to the vehicle light refreshments are served. This is a highly recommended activity in both summer & winter.
Lunch will be served at the lodge. High Tea will be served in the later afternoon, before guests depart on their evening game drive. Guests will stop along the way to admire the wonderful sunset while enjoying a sundowner drink. In the evening guests will meet for dinner at the lodge.
» Day 6 - Leisure, Sunset, and Star Gazing

Early morning wake up call followed by Tea/coffee and biscuits in the lounge before departing on your morning game. Before returning to the lodge guests are driven to either the river hide or one of the open plains where breakfast is served. A full table is set and the guests are invited to join the animals, which can often be viewed from the breakfast venue, whilst savoring a full continental breakfast.
Return to the lodge after your breakfast, with the rest of the day at your leisure. Lunch will be served at the lodge according to the time that best suits you. High Tea will be served in the later afternoon, before guests depart on their evening game drive. Guests will stop along the way to admire the wonderful sunset while enjoying a sundowner drink.
Before heading back to the lodge guests will be able to some star gazing:
- Astronomy
This is done during the evening game drive and is kept as a surprise for those guests who have a keen interest in our solar system and the associated African folklore. Lie back under the African sky & be taken on a journey through our ancient galaxy.
In the evening guests will meet for dinner at the lodge.
» Day 7 - Snake Presentation and a Open Campfire

Early morning wake up call followed by Tea/coffee and biscuits in the lounge before departing on your morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast, with the rest of the day at your leisure. Before lunch all guests to meet in the reception for an unforgettable snake presentation and interaction by Don Strydom. Lunch will be served at the lodge according to the time that best suites you.
High Tea will be served in the later afternoon, before guests depart on their evening game drive. Guests will stop along the way to admire the wonderful sunset while enjoying a sundowner drink. Tonight guests will not return to the lodge for dinner. Guests are driven to either a dry riverbed or under the African sky on an open plain. Lit by only paraffin lamps and a big open campfire, this dining experience makes for one of the most unforgettable memories of a visit to Africa. Listen to the night sounds and enjoy a sumptuous meal cooked on the open-coals of the bush fire. Return back to the lodge after the bush dinner
Early morning wake up call followed by Tea/coffee and biscuits in the lounge before departing on your morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, pack your bags and check out. You will be transferred to the Skukuza airstrip for your scheduled charter back to Johannesburg departing at 11:30. Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, you will be met by a Live Africa representative and transferred to the Saxon Hotel. On arrival at the Saxon Hotel, your luggage will be taken to the room while all the guests check in. After guests have checked in they have the afternoon to relax around the pool. Dinner is at your leisure this evening.

» Day 9 - Zambezi and The Victoria Falls
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, proceed with check out formalities, where you will be met and transferred to OR Tambo International Airport, for your onward flight to Livingstone. Scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Livingstone on SA45 departing at 10:40 and arriving in Livingstone at 12:30 – Flights have not been booked and subject to availability
Upon arrival into Livingstone International Airport you will be met by a Live Africa representative and transferred to your hotel. On arrival at the Royal Livingstone Hotel please proceed with Check in formalities at the hotel. This afternoon you will be met by a Live Africa representative for your Afternoon Sunset Cruise on the African Queen. Dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel
The Royal Livingstone in Zambia lies in the forested banks of the Zambezi River and is Sun International newest hotel. A stone’s throw away from the mighty Victoria Falls, the Royal Livingstone overlooks the smooth waters just before it plunges over the legendary waterfall creating a permanent water spray. As you sit on the sundeck overlooking the forest and the Zambezi, rainbows fill the air creating an enchanting atmosphere. The hotel has already been named as one of the 'Leading Hotels in the World' for its exceptional levels of service, fine dining, comfort and hospitality.
Large, shaded and spacious verandas fall within the colonial style architecture of the Royal Livingstone. The bedrooms are located in two-story clusters and are luxurious and spacious. Each cluster has 10 en-suite bedrooms, each with their own private terrace and five-star amenities.
» Day 10 - Tour of the Falls and a Helicopter Ride

Breakfast can be enjoyed at the hotel. After breakfast you will be met in the reception by an Live Africa representative and transferred to the entrance of the falls, where you will be taken on a Tour of the Falls .This will take approximately 2 hours. Lunch is at your leisure.
In the early afternoon, a Live Africa representative will meet you for you transfer to the Helicopter launch pad for a 12 minute flight over the falls. They currently have 4 seater and 6 seater helicopters, however this could change.

» Day 11 - Elephant Back Experience
Breakfast can be enjoyed at the hotel. In the morning you will be met for your Half Day Elephant Back Experience.

It is not often one can climb onto the back of an African Elephant and set off at an easy rolling pace in search of other wild game; wild elephant, giraffe, buffalo and much more. This is an elephant ‘experience’ and the guides are highly trained experts in the behavior of elephants and the wildlife around them. The afternoon safaris go on for about 4 hours with snacks at the end of the day and the opportunity to view a video of each guest’s elephant ride. The price includes transfers, tea, coffee, snacks and cordial drinks.

Breakfast can be enjoyed at the hotel. Spend the remainder of the morning at leisure. Proceed with check out formalities. You will be met by a Live Africa representative and transferred to Livingstone International Airport. Your Scheduled flight from Livingstone to Johannesburg departs around 1 and arrives in Johannesburg around 3. On arrival in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport you will be met by a Live Africa Representative who will assist you with checking in for your flight onwards.
